Started in 1970 by Arthur W. Thomas as the Franklin IGA Foodliner. Alan L. Thomas and Wayne Edwards bought it in 1991, and it is now owned by Cory Thomas, third generation of the family, along with Jerry Kimble, who has run the meat department for twenty-five years.
